Sarasota sheriff seeking Chick Fil A armed robbery suspect

SARASOTA, Fla. — The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man suspected of an armed robbery at a Chick-fil-A restaurant.

The man entered the restaurant around 10:11 p.m. Friday, May 10 at 5384 Fruitville Road and demanded money from the employees, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies said no one was injured.

The man was carrying a silver or chrome pistol, according to the sheriff’s office. And, he was wearing a dark-colored jacket, dark-colored pants, a black cap with the Superman logo on the front, a yellow bandana on his face and black gloves. Deputies said he also has a little bit of facial hair.
