ORLANDO, Fla. (WPEC) – An Orlando police officer is recovering from severe injuries after being shot during a standoff Monday morning.
According to OPD Chief John Mina, the suspect who shot the officer is barricaded inside an apartment with four children as hostages. Their ages range from 1 to 12 years old.
The officer is expected to survive. Source
