As the trainer shrieked in pain and struggled to free himself from the tiger’s clutches, the big cat bit his neck and pierced its teeth on his legs
A tiger attacked a circus trainer during a live performance in the Italian province of Lecce, Ivan Orfei, 31, was grabbed by the leg and pulled to the floor by one of the tigers. The animal then bit Orfei’s neck and jumped on his back. Orfei was treated for injuries to his neck, leg, and arm at a local hospital, but none of the injuries were life-threatening. He was able to go home the same day.
