Sheriff’s Department releases video of Vista Costco incident that led to attempted kidnapping arrest
A 37-year-old Carlsbad man was arrested on suspicion of attempted kidnapping after the Sept. 20 encounter
Less than a week after a 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trying to kidnap a toddler, the Sheriff’s Department released video of the incident in a Costco parking lot in Vista in hopes of quelling community uproar prompted when the man bailed out of jail.
“In this case, based on the video and other evidence gathered as part of our investigation, the Vista Sheriff’s Station believes there is no ongoing threat or danger to our community’s children related to this incident,” the department said Thursday night. Continue Reading at Source
