Onlookers plead with cop who looks to be holding teens at gunpoint: ‘They’re just kids’
A Georgia police department is responding to outrage after a video purportedly showing one of its officers aiming a weapon at five young boys has begun making the rounds on social media.
The Clayton County Police Department took to Facebook Tuesday to respond to the controversial video, noting that the department’s “leadership is aware of the incident and the video that is on social media involving what appears to be young teenagers.”
The department went on to say that the video shows only “a small portion of the entire incident” and confirmed that on Tuesday it would release body cam footage, the incident report, as well as the 911 call that led to an officer response. Source
