Netflix shared Dave Chappelle’s set from Dave Chapelle & Friends: A Talk with Punchlines and titled it “8:46.” Chappelle addressed the killing of George Floyd and the protests that have sprung up across the country in response. Throughout his time on stage, Chappelle returned to 8 minutes and 46 seconds, the amount of time former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin knelt on Floyd’s neck during his attempted arrest, subsequently killing him. He also spoke about Former Los Angeles police officer Christopher Dorner who shocked the world when he took up arms against ex-colleagues and their families in 2013. Source
