Police responded to an armed man attempting to enter a home on North Evergreen Avenue. Neighbors mentioned that one of the offenders was dead inside in the home and the other attempted to run.
Police found an armed suspect dead Saturday afternoon following a standoff in Arlington Heights. Arlington Heights police were called just before 2 p.m. to a house in the 2400 block of North Evergreen Avenue, just south of Waverly Drive and Arlington Heights Road, for a report of a man with a gun.
