Elijah Cummings, a Maryland Democrat & House Oversight Chairman, passed away at 2:45 a.m. ET at Baltimore’s Johns Hopkins Hospital, his office said.
The congressman passed away at Johns Hopkins Hospital at approximately 2:45 a.m. @RepCummings hadn’t returned to work after having a medical procedure that he said would only keep him away for about a week.
