Description of Incident:

Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives are releasing a photo of a person they want to speak to regarding the murder of Jahseh Onfroy, also known as XXXTentacion.

The person detectives are interested in talking to is 22-year-old Robert Allen. They want to find out what he knows about the murder. The photograph is taken from surveillance video at RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach the day Onfroy was shot.

At least one of the suspects fired a gun, striking Onfroy. Both of the suspects fled in a dark-color SUV.  Onfroy was transported to Broward Health North where he was pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives have recovered the 2017 Dodge Journey that was used to block Onfroy as he was leaving RIVA Motorsports shortly before 4 p.m. June 18 when he was approached by two armed suspects in an apparent robbery.

In just more than 48 hours after the murder, Dedrick Devonshay Williams was arrested Wednesday, June 20, following a traffic stop in Pompano Beach.

Homicide detectives are seeking additional suspects. The investigation continues.
