A traffic stop ultimately led to the discovery of three bodies in a Massachusetts home, police say.

Authorities said they attempted to pull over Stewart Weldon, 40, for a broken tail light Sunday, but he allegedly refused to stop and led them on a chase before smashing into a police cruiser. He wrestled with officers before they were finally able to handcuff him.

A woman found inside his car allegedly told authorities Weldon had held her captive for a month, sexually assaulted her and beat her with a hammer and other objects when he got angry.
